My legal career began in Baltimore, Maryland in 1989 when I began practicing at a commercial litigation firm representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of matters, including commercial disputes, tort actions and product liability cases. From 1989 to 2000, I tried dozens of cases to verdict, gaining invaluable experience in the courtroom.
In 2000, I, along with two of my partners, formed the firm of Parker, Dumler & Kiely, LLP (“PDK”). At PDK, our practice focused extensively on the representation of individuals with mesothelioma against corporations that were responsible for our clients’ exposure to asbestos. During that time, I not only tried several cases to verdict and obtained multi-million dollar verdicts for my clients, but I also collected millions of dollars in settlements for them.
In 2011, my two partners retired from the practice of law and I continued to practice as a sole practitioner in Baltimore. My practice continued to focus on the representation of asbestos victims.
In 2017, I joined Brown to form Brown│Kiely. Having collaborated with Dan Brown on asbestos cases for more than 15 years, I look forward to continuing to do so now that I have become a member of Brown│Kiely.
